Teriyaki Grilled Chicken, such a juicy and flavorful grilled meat! This is one of my favorite recipes for grilled meat and SO easy. I just marinate it the night before and then put it on the grill for an easy weeknight dinner!
I like to serve this easy grilled chicken with rice that I cook in the microwave and some steamed or grilled broccoli, making dinner super quick to get on the table. Have you ever made rice in the microwave? It’s my go-to way for rice that is fluffy and clump free every time!

TERIYAKI GRILLED CHICKEN
The marinade is a mixture of ginger, soy sauce, garlic, brown sugar and a few other things making for some super flavorful meat. I mix it up and pour over my boneless skinless chicken thighs and then let it marinate overnight. You don’t have to marinate it overnight, it can be just for a few hours. But, for me it’s just easier to prep it the night before, and then it’s ready to pull out and grill the next day.
I like to use boneless skinless chicken thighs, but you can also do it with boneless skinless chicken breasts.
I find myself over and over again coming back to this recipe because it’s something my entire family loves and it’s so simple to make! Make a double batch and freeze half of it for an even easier meal in a week or two that you can just pull out of the freezer and it’s ready to go!
Grill over medium high heat 5 minutes per side or until the thickest part of the meat’s internal temperature is 165 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s best if you let it sit for about 3 minutes after you take if off the grill to keep it nice and juicy!
I got my Dad these grilling tongs with a digital meat thermometer a few years ago for Father’s Day and he loves it! You can select what type of meat you are grilling, pick your meat temperature and know when it reaches that temperature and is ready. Makes a great gift idea for sure!
I’m thinking another great gift idea for Father’s Day would be this grilling spatula if you want more of a spatula for flipping and not the tongs for grabbing!
