The easiest Apple Crisp ever!! Just uses 6 common ingredients to make a SUPER yummy dessert!
This Apple Cobbler is sooo easy and super yummy!!! I just pulled a pan of it out of the oven . . . I’m taking it to our church Easter dinner and I know I’ll be coming back with an empty dish! 😀 My house smells like apples and cinnamon and butter, and I can’t wait to taste those sweet gooey apples topped with a buttery oatmeal crumble. YUM.
Start by peeling the apples and slicing them into nice thin slices. I love to use Granny Smith apples – they stay firm when baking, and they add that tartness amidst all the sweet.
Next you’lll coat them with sugar and cinnamon.
Then you spread them in the bottom of a 9×13 pan, and mix up the topping!
The topping is super simple: just oatmeal, a Jiffy cake mix, a little more sugar :-P, and margarine. If you can’t find a Jiffy cake mix, just use half a box of any brand yellow cake mix!
Mix those topping ingredients up and spread over top of the apples.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until the top begins to brown.
That’s all! Yum yum!
