Army Camo Birthday Party Ideas
Let’s just say an ARMY CAMO BIRTHDAY PARTY is so much fun!!!
My sister and I have several boys that LOVE to play soldiers and army everything…. They dress up, get all the stuff out, and make ‘set ups’ and just have so much fun with it for hours!
What a perfect idea to have an Army Camo Birthday Party for them! My two boys are close in age and just turned 5 & 6 this spring, so we celebrated their birthdays together. That age is great for this type of army party, but I know older boys would love it too.
Planning a small party for kids does not have to be overwhelming. I like to break it down into different parts to make it simpler for my mind.

Favors/something party themed for the guests
First, let’s talk decor!
I love printing and hanging banners because they add such a big touch of the party theme, and they’re so quick and easy to do! This camouflage banner is available in the entire alphabet, PLUS numbers, so you can write whatever message you want!
For my boys’ party, we purchased a big piece of camo netting to hang on the wall as a big backdrop behind the cake & food table! It transforms the room into an army party with no effort. This camo netting is available on Amazon.
These 3 items, small army camo plates, army camo napkins and army camo candles, can all be purchased from Hobby Lobby.
Hobby Lobby also has THE BEST gift wrap. It’s thick and shiny, super great quality and such a deal if you find it 50% off!! And yes, they have a roll of camo gift wrap!! Yay! As I write this post, it is currently half off making it only $2.49 for a big roll of thick paper. Can’t beat it!
Hobby Lobby also offers free shipping on orders of $50 or more.
One more thing to add to the decor would be some table covers. These camouflage tablecloths can be found at either Oriental Trading or Hobby Lobby.
And don’t forget the balloons!!! They add so much to the party atmosphere!
Second, let’s talk food!
For kid parties, I keep things super simple, because usually they are too excited to sit down and eat anyway. I’ve done ham and cheese sandwiches, corn dogs, or hot dogs, and usually some fruit and a favorite chip or cheese curl.
If you have adults too, we have some fun party food recipes for you:
This Black Bean and Corn Taco Dip is a favorite!
Or this Avocado Cilantro Lime Dip with a bold punch of flavor!
Or how about this bright and pretty Veggie Pizza?
Now how about that cake!
We have a super simple, no decorating skills needed, cool Camo Cake for you. Just follow the instructions!!
Third, games are a must!
This compilation of Army Party Games I found has lots of good ideas!
Fourth, Party Favors and Gifts!
We gave every child a plastic army helmet as soon as they arrived!
