STRAWBERRY VANILLA SPRITE
How many Sonic Happy Hour fans do we have out there?! What I really love is that ordering from the app allows you 1/2 off drinks all the time. Cherry Limeade. Diet Vanilla Coke. Peach Mango Green Tea. YUM. These are some of my faves on these long hot summer days!!!
But in the past year or so, my all time favorite is a Sprite Zero with real strawberries and vanilla. Ahhhhh. Sweet and refreshing. I decided to save $ and trips out by having on hand what I need to make this yummy drink right at home… Strawberry Vanilla Sprite. If you haven’t tried it, GIVE IT A TRY! It’s deliiiiiiicious. 🙂
I’m also saving on calories since Sonic does not have a sugar-free vanilla option!!
You can make this yummy drink in a just a few minutes as long as you thaw your strawberries ahead of time. Once they are thawed, puree them, leaving some small pieces… it just makes the drink even yummier.
HOW TO MAKE STRAWBERRY VANILLA SPRITE
What you need:
-Sliced Strawberries with sugar
–Vanilla syrup
-Sprite Zero
Puree the thawed strawberries. Fill your glass with crushed ice, add about 2 Tablespoons strawberry puree and 1 Tablespoon vanilla syrup. Then fill the glass to the top with Sprite Zero.
Stir and enjoy.
*HACK*, to make these drinks often and easily, I filled ice cube trays with the strawberry puree and vanilla syrup and froze them. Once the cubes were frozen, I popped them out and put the in a plastic container to store in the freezer for whenever I needed them!
Pop 2 frozen cubes in a glass with extra ice, fill with Sprite and stir. So easy.
