We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season! One thing is for certain that the holidays can wear you out…. all the shopping, baking, wrapping, getting everything done on the to-do list. It’s a LOT of fun, but it can take a toll on your body. Give your body a moment (or two!!) to relax with this diy bath tea!
DIY Bath Tea {relax and de-stress!}
This is the time for you to relax and unwind after the busy holiday season, and there’s no better way to do it than by taking a nice warm bath! This DIY bath tea will help you to relax and de-stress. And can I say that the aroma is amaaaaaazing?! It smells like you’re walking right into a rose garden.

Find a moment of calm with this bath tea while at the same time pampering your skin!
Add a few scoops of this bath tea in the bath tea bag to your warm bath water. Allow it to steep for a few minutes before getting in. Then just relax and enjoy!
After using, simply discard the contents of the bag and wash it out so it’s ready to use again.
These also make super cute gifts for giving. I like to have some made up so when I need a gift for someone, I have one ready to gift. Know someone who might need a little something to pick them up? …. maybe a new mom, someone recovering from an illness, a teacher, a friend stressed out at work. This is such a fun way to show someone you care and are thinking about them!
We love to gift fun things to people and this housewarming gift is perfect for that. When Liz had a friend move into a new home, she knew they would love this housewarming gift!
So, let’s make this….
You’ll need:
- epsom salt
- pink himalayan salt
- dried calendula petals
- dried rose petals
- vitamin E oil
- rose essential oil drops
- bath tea bags
- a jar
- wooden scoops
In a large bowl, combine 1 3/4 cups epsom salt, 1/2 cup pink Himalayan salt, 1/2 cup dried calendula petals and 1/2 cup dried rose petals.
Stir to combine.
Add 6-8 drops of rose essential oil and stir to combine.
(again you could use the same method of spraying it over)
Scoop it into a jar or two.
I was gifting these, so I wanted to make them look super cute. I found these 10 oz. jars at Hobby Lobby and they were perfect for what I needed.
I wanted a jar that had a wide enough lid for my little wooden scoops to fit. Using twine, I tied my folded up tea bag and scoop to the side, tied a bow in the front and attached the label to the front.
I’ve also included the free printable for the tags. You could punch a hole in these and attach with string or glue to the front of the jar like I did.

Herbal Bath Tea Tag Printable
I printed it on this kraft paper.
Once I put it all together and attached the tag, it was ready for gifting!
I hope you enjoy this bath tea and find a moment of peaceful relaxation!
