Free Printable Birthday Banner in Navy Blue
Any time we’re having a party of celebration, we put up a printable banner to add a nice pop!
Usually we print these right out on our home printer, but occasionally if we’re low on ink or something, we’ll run the PDF over to Staples and order color laser prints on cardstock because they’re pretty cheap and look SO GOOD.
So, if you only have an inkjet printer (which tends to end up darker and a little bit different shade than you see on your screen because of how the ink absorbs into the paper), I think you’ll really love the option of Staples or Office Depot or someplace like that for prints on a laser printer (this ink doesn’t soak in, so the color will match what you see on your screen a lot more closely!).
I invested in a good laser printer for my home because I do print so many decorations, lists, planner pages (like this Meal Planning Bundle! ….and this Project Planner!), etc.
We researched and eventually went with the HP Color LaserJet Pro M245dw – we could not be happier! It’s a great price for the quality!
Ok, enough about printing – let’s get to the printable birthday banner files!

I always print these on cardstock, as well as for all of our other free printables, because it holds up a lot better than normal paper which tends to curl.
Once I get all my pages printed, I grab my favorite paper cutter (it is definitely THIS ONE because it has a wire guide line so I know *exactly* where the cut is going to be all the way down the paper).
(Here’s a photo of the paper cutter from our “Banner for Dad” post.)
After you print and cut, punch a hole in each top corner. Thread pretty ribbon, yarn, or twine through the holes, and you’re ready to display your birthday banner!
We want to see your printable birthday banner in action, so be sure to tag us on Instagram or Facebook so we can see! 😁 @sixcleversisters
