HULA HOOP PHOTO STAND
When it comes to decorating for a party or shower or even in my home, I love using a large decoration as a statement piece to base the rest of the decor on. This HULA HOOP PHOTO STAND is just that. It is large and really stands out on it’s own.
I have this one decorated for Christmas, but it all is customizable based on the floral and greenery you choose for the top, and the print or photo that you hang!
An engagement photo for a bridal shower, sweet sentiment or ultrasound picture for a baby shower, couples picture for an anniversary party, or a printable for any holiday!
We have this buffalo check Christmas printable right here as a free download. Or if you prefer red and black buffalo plaid, click here.
I found a hula hoop at Dollar Tree and spray painted it white.
My husband had a piece of scrap wood that he cut into a base for me, and attached the hula hoop with these pipe clamps.
I spray painted the base and hardware, and my stand was ready to decorate.
When you attach the floral and greenery to the top, zip ties come in very handy!! You can also use a little hot glue here and there if you need to. I laid my greenery across the top and love how it turned out!
To attach the small clothespins to your Hula Hoop Photo Stand, use fishing line! Tie it around the hula hoop and around the clothespin. If you need to hold it in perfect place, just add a tiny dot of glue at the top of the hula hoop.
Then simply, clip your photo or printable onto the clothespins! So cute!!
I made one of these but wrapped it in a thick twine….now it’s to heavy and leans over any idea how I could fix it
