TIPS FOR KNITTING BABY BOOTIES:

First, you should pick an appropriate size pattern. If you plan to gift these at a baby shower for a newborn to wear, plan to make them in newborn size. Most patterns have a variety of sizes you can knit it in. Usually the pattern has parentheses for the different sizes. You just need to choose the correct size for the baby you are making it for.
