Chick-fil-A’s Cow Appreciation Day Idea With Free Printable Ears Pattern is a great accessory that can be made in no time!
*update. . .it appears that Chick-fil-a has changed the rules this year. You can no longer get a free meal. Bummer. But it’s still delicious, and I appreciate what they do! Here’s what they say on their website:
“This year we’ve simplified the reward. In order to make the award more consistent for all and provide the highest guest experience, anyone wearing anything cowlike will receive a free entrée! Guests in cow attire may select any breakfast, lunch or dinner entrée. Kids dressed like a cow may select a Kid’s Meal.”

Yes, that’s right. . . Chick-fil-A’s Cow Appreciation Day 2016 is just around the corner. This year’s date is Tuesday, July 12, 2016. That’s only 4 weeks away! If you’ve never experienced getting dressed up like a cow you don’t know what you are missing. 🙂
Who doesn’t LOVE a Chick-fil-A meal?! I know it’s definitely one of my favorite fast food chains. Their chicken is AMAZING!!
This is such a fun event to be a part of!

This is a tutorial to make the headband on the far right (TB July 2015)
Here’s the deal–
Come fully dressed from “head to hoof” and you’ll receive an entire meal for free. You can’t beat that! Last year I got their Asian salad and an ice cold, fresh lemonade for totally free. It was outstanding!
If you aren’t partial of dressing from “head to hoof” or as Chick-fil-a calls it, “too chicken,” don’t worry you are still eligible for a freebie. Just wear any type of cow accessory, such as the ear headband here, a cow print purse, a scarf, or any partial costume that is something cow, and you will receive any entree for free.
Don’t be worried about being embarrassed walking in all dressed up. Believe me, most of the people there will be in cow costume. You won’t be alone! The first time we did it, we were nervous about walking in and looking the way we did. Haha! Once we pulled in the parking lot there were no worries. I think everyone coming in and out of Chick-fil-A that day was dressed like a cow!
With it just being 4 weeks away, why wait until the last minute to get your stuff together?
