This Easy Frozen Fruit Yogurt will have you refreshed in no time!!
Going through the third trimester with my fourth child in the heat of summer has made me want ALL THINGS COLD! Ice cold seltzer, Fruit pops, cold watermelon, smoothies… you name it. This Easy Frozen Fruit Yogurt has been such a nice evening treat.
Second to wanting all things cold, is wanting all things fruit. haha
Peaches, Cherries, Strawberries, Blueberries, Watermelon, Cantaloupe. I’m just enjoying it all!
For this treat, simply blend FROZEN fruit with frozen yogurt. So easy.
This Ninja Foodi has a Smoothie Bowl Maker that blends and powers through frozen foods with less liquid for perfectly thick smoothie bowls, nut butters, and blender ice cream. It is seriously amazing. I use it for Almond butter, ice creams, this frozen fruit yogurt, bean dips, hummus… It is literally used almost daily at my house. 100% worth the cost in my opinion!!! Check it out HERE!!!
To make this Frozen Fruit Yogurt, first freeze some seasonal fruit. Or buy a mega huge bag of blueberries from Sam’s Club like I did. š Less than $9!!! We are loading our smoothies and pancakes with blueberries.
Cherries were on sale at my local grocery store, so I got a big bag, pitted them, and stuck them in the freezer. I think next time I will try chocolate frozen yogurt with cherries and another one with banana and peanut butter. Yum!!
For an easy and fast way to pit cherries, check out this post.
Just grab your ninja or powerful blender, toss in about 1/2-2/3 cup frozen fruit and about an equal amount of frozen yogurt and blend it together. It only takes about 25 seconds with the Ninja Foodi. This is enough for one large serving.
Blueberry is my favorite!!!
I like to stick the blended yogurt in the freezer for 15-20 minutes to make sure it is very frozen before serving.
Look at these beautiful colors!
Strawberry!
Cherry!
Try any type of fruit that you love and let us know how it turns out! You can always add a bit of honey for sweetness if your fruit is too tart.
