Easy peach sorbet recipe without an ice cream maker

I had a few very ripe peaches, and developed this peach sorbet that doesn’t need an ice cream maker.
I found several recipes on Pinterest for peach sorbet, but almost all of them used an ice cream maker. The recipes that didn’t – well, their reviews said that the sorbet turned out rock solid hard and wasn’t scoopable. I knew I didn’t want that!
This easy sorbet recipe has a secret ingredient that makes it the perfect scoopable texture.
I started by blanching my peaches to remove the skin. It is a super easy method.
How to Peel Ripe Peaches
Drop peaches in a pot of boiling water for 1 minute.
Transfer peaches to a bowl of cold water to cool.
Once cool enough to handle, gently slide off peels with your thumbs.

How to Make Sorbet
In a blender, combine diced peaches, sugar, water, lemon juice, and oat milk.
Blend until completely smooth.
Pour into a 9×13 pan and freeze.
After 2 hours, stir well.
Freeze overnight.
