This easy Fall Chex Mix is the perfect combination of sweet and salty! The crunchy mix of Chex, Bugles, and pretzels… coated with delicious buttery brown sugar crisp… and then mixed with the candies is just amazing. I threw in peanuts, candy corn and Reese’s pieces at the end. But you could totally change that up and add chocolate chips or m&m’s or whatever your family’s favorites are.
Fall is the absolute best time for baking all the things.
Fall is the perfect time of year for me. I get so excited when the temperature begins dropping and the leaves start changing. Brings all the baking out in me! And now that my kiddos are a little older and are appreciating mom’s special treats more, I love to see them enjoy the food and hear them talk about different foods they like for each season. This Fall Chex Mix was a HIT. No doubt about it. One liked the pretzels the best, another one liked the Bugles, and of course, candy corn was the favorite of my 4 year old. š Every day until it was gone, they looked forward to the time of day that they got some for snack.
I put some cinnamon and pumpkin pie spice in the brown sugar butter mixture and drizzled it over the mix. Then baked it to make it so so crisp and buttery. SO YUMMY. All the fall flavors burst out of it, along with all the fall aromas while it is baking. You can’t lose with this one!
