Fruit pizza with a homemade sugar cookie crust and a fluffy creamy topping – topped with berries and whipped cream.

Ingredients

Crust:

1/2 cup butter (softened to room temperature)

1 1/2 cup sugar

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 eggs

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 teaspoons cream of tartar

1 teaspoon baking soda

2 2/3 cups flour

Topping:

8 ounces cream cheese (softened to room temperature)

1 8-ounce container whipped topping

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract

Fruits: strawberries (or raspberries), blueberries

Redi-whip

Instructions

Crust:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream softened butter and sugar together.

Add vanilla, egg, salt, cream of tartar, baking soda, and flour.

Mix until combined.

Press into well-greased cookie sheet.

Bake for 18-20 minutes.

Cool completely.

Topping:

Beat softened cream cheese until smooth.

Add powdered sugar and vanilla.

Fold in whipped topping.

Spread over cooled crust.

Chill for 20-30 minutes.

Arrange fruit and Redi-whip on top.

Chill until ready to serve.

Notes

Homemade crust can be substituted with refrigerated sugar cookie dough.
