Who doesn’t LOVE free gift cards, right?!  I know I do!! Each month I can earn a free Starbucks gift card without much effort at all.

I’ll tell you how YOU can do this, too. It’s soooo easy!

HERE’S WAY #1 – – –

A few years ago, I was introduced to Bing rewards, and I’ve been using it ever since. They’ve since renamed it to Microsoft rewards, but it’s the same thing with just a few minor changes. So all you have to do is first create a Microsoft account. You can find the link here.  Your screen should look like the picture below. If you already have an account, just click on the sign in here. If you don’t have a Microsoft account, click on the start earning rewards tab. (You can opt out of promotional emails from Microsoft if desired.)

Open a new tab and go to www.bing.com

Once you have an account, you’ll see your name in the top right hand corner as seen here.

Click on the red medal and you’ll see this drop down bar.

Each day, you’ll be able to earn the following points when you use bing as your search engine:

  • 100 points* on a mobile device    (just be sure to sign into microsoft rewards on your phone for these to count)
  • 150 points* on your pc    (btw, if you use an iPad it will count those search points as pc, not mobile)
  • daily offer points   These will differ by day. You’ll see from the picture above that today I could earn 25 daily offer points
  • you can also earn 1 point for every $1 spent at the Windows and Microsoft stores

*each search you do in Bing counts as 5 points

Watch for special offers from Bing, too! Sometimes they’ll do a double points weekend. So you could then earn 300 points on a pc and 200 points on mobile device per day during these double point days. This can rack up your points quickly. Not too long ago, if you shared how you started using Microsoft rewards, you got 500 points!

If you click on the red medal with the drop down menu like we talked about earlier, and then click on the words Microsoft Rewards, it’ll take you to your account dashboard. Here you can change your settings, view and change the privacy options, redeem rewards and much more.

In the picture below, you’ll see the dashboard bar across the top with your info, privacy, security, etc.

When you have enough points to redeem a reward, click on the Rewards tab. Then click redeem. You’ll then see a page of rewards like below in the picture. (These are not all of the reward options shown in the picture.)

My favorite reward is the Starbucks gift card, of course! Once you’ve chosen your reward option, click REDEEM REWARD. You’ll then be asked for a phone number for a *redemption code to be sent to. Enter your redemption code and then watch your email for your FREE GIFT CARD. šŸ™‚

*they won’t ask you for a phone number every time you redeem a reward: it’s random times as a security measure.

PLEASE NOTE: WHEN YOU FIRST START USING A MICROSOFT ACCOUNT AND MICROSOFT REWARDS, YOU’LL ONLY BE ABLE TO EARN 50 POINTS PER DAY UNTIL YOU GET UP TO LEVEL 2. DON’T WORRY, IT DOESN’T TAKE LONG! YOU CAN FIND ALL THAT INFORMATION HERE.

The easiest thing to do is to set Bing as your search engine. Then when you are searching for something, you’re using Bing and gaining points.

So try it out and start earning points and getting gift cards!

HERE’S WAY #2 – – –

Have you heard of Swagbucks? If you don’t have an account, you’ll need to create an account. Click on join today.

You’ll then be taken to a screen that looks like this. Go ahead and join up!

The video here can explain this better than I can, so you’ll probably want to watch that first. For me, it took a little while to get used to getting around on Swagbucks site, figuring out what and where everything was and how to earn points. But, once you get the hang of it, it’s not difficult at all.

You can earn points on Swagbucks from:

  • taking a daily poll
  • searching in Swagbucks (it’s like their own search engine)
  • watching promotional videos
  • online shopping
  • answering surveys
  • and special Swagcodes that can be found on their FB page, IG account, etc.

Honestly, I mostly just use Swagbucks for online shopping. If there’s something you know you’re going to purchase online, BEFORE you just go and order it, go to Swagbucks first!

In the picture below, you’ll notice the TO DO LIST on the left side. Here you’ll find some daily activities to earn you Bonus SB.

I’m going to click on Daily Poll. Just choose your answer and you’ll be rewarded with 1 SB.

A better way to earn more Swagbucks is by doing your online shopping through them. Just click on Shop. You’ll see that on the left side of this picture, right at the top.

Once you click on Shop, you’ll see a screen like this. Just choose what site you’re looking for. You’ll notice the category of featured stores. These are the ones that have a special promotion. Like here you’ll see Amazon is doing 7 SB per $1 spent, or JCPenney is doing 12 SB per $1 spent. Take advantage of these special promotions!

Say I’m looking to shop on JCPenney.com. Click on the Shop Now button. It will then redirect you to JCPenney.com to start your shopping. Notice the word Coupons in the picture below. This is where you will find available coupons for the site you’re shopping on. If you see something that would be helpful to you, just choose to reveal the code and you’ll be asked to paste the code at checkout.

On the home page, you’ll notice the smiley face in the top right hand corner. Click on it and it will have a drop down menu. Then just click on My Shop & Earn. Here you’ll see the sites you visited and then the purchases you made. It will also give you the date that you will be awarded the Swagbucks you earned through shopping and the amount of Swagbucks you will be receiving from your online shopping.

When you have enough Swagbucks for a reward, simply go to the Rewards Store. (You’ll find this from the same drop down menu underneath the smiley face. Choose Redeem SB.)

Here you’ll find a myriad of stores to choose from, including Walmart, Amazon, Target, Starbucks, Ebay, gas gift cards, etc. You can choose Paypal if you’d rather have the cash. There are MANY options!

There are more ways to earn Swagbucks as well. Just browse around their site and you’ll find polls to take, videos to watch, etc.

I hope you find this information helpful!

There are a couple of EASY ways to earn free gift cards! It’s like being rewarded for the everyday things you already do! I hope you’ll check out Microsoft Rewards and Swagbucks and start earning many gift cards.  šŸ™‚
