How to make an inexpensive and cute BRIGHT BUNNY PARTY?
My little girl just turned 3, and she looooves bunnies! When I asked her about her birthday party, she immediately said “I want a bunny party!” I started looking stuff up and everything looked very Easterish or babyish. Cute ideas, but my girl is spunky and fun and I thought a bright party would be a better idea for her! I wanted to let her have her bunnies, so I came up with a bright colored bunny party.
When it comes to easy to throw together parties, I like to grab stuff from Hobby Lobby. They have a lot of pre-done decorations in their party section, and also the supplies I need for some inexpensive DIY decor! Definitely my go to place!!
I love these bright paper fans! I found a 6-pack at Hobby Lobby for only $3.99! and also grabbed a few pieces of scrapbook paper to make the floral and striped fans. Easy way to cover a wall and transform a room into PARTY zone lol.

To add a cute bunny garland to your decor, cut some bunny shapes from white cardstock, draw an outline with bright markers and add bright pom pom bunny tails!
You’ll be able to find everything you need right at Hobby Lobby, but more than likely you’ll have everything you need right at home!
I strung these bunnies on some white rick rack I had and it looked so cute over top of the paper fans.
The Happy Birthday banner was from Hobby Lobby as well, but had llamas on it. I simply removed those and put bunnies in their place. Easy!
Now for an easy cake…..
I made a 3 layer strawberry cake (because, of course, my almost 3 year old requested a PINK cake š ).
Whip up some buttercream, frost the cake and add a large rosette border to the top of the cake. I happened to have some fun sprinkles that I embellished the border with. I also added some green leaves to the pink rosettes and a white border at the bottom.
For the ears, eyes, and nose, I used glitter cardstock and craft foam!! I just cut out the shapes I needed and added them to the cake with dabs of frosting. It was super simple. Bright Bunny Party Cake… done.
This gift wrap and plates and napkins were also from Hobby Lobby. I thought the tie dye look went okay with the bright bunny party idea. We also got helium balloons shortly before the party. Balloons add so much to a party! And the kids love playing with them!!
I love this CUTE LITTLE MONSTER FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY post!!!
