And you’ll need some basic crafting supplies such as a paintbrush, scissors, and Elmer’s glue.
Here’s how to make this easy and CUTE paper plate ladybug craft:
Start by painting one paper plate black. (make sure bottom side is up)
Next, cut another paper plate in half.
Then, with both halves together, trim a small amount off of both at the same time.
Paint both of those halves with red paint. (again, bottom side up)
Overlap the two red pieces (about 3/4″) as shown below.
Place the overlapped red pieces on top of the black circle and line up the outer circle edges.
Holding all the layers together, push your paper fastener through.
(you may have to push a pen or something sharp through a teeny bit before you’re able to get the paper fastener to go through.)
It should look like this.
Next, cut out the head and spots from the free printable.
Arrange as desired and glue on.

For the antennae, I cut one 12″ pipe cleaner in half. Then, I wrapped it around a pen to get the curly-q look. 🙂
With a pen or other sharp object, make a tiny poke where you want the antennae.
Then, from the front, push the pipe cleaner through that tiny slit.
Twist the end of the pipe cleaner to keep it from coming back through the hole.
