My 2020 Quarantine Journal FREE PRINTABLES
This year, 2020, is a historical year. We are confined, to the most part, to our homes with our families for an indefinite period of time.
For some, that is proving to be difficult . . . as they have to balance working from home with their spouse and keeping up with their child/children’s education and not being able to go out and do the things they are used to doing on a daily or weekly basis. It’s not easy having to deal with so much.
BUT – it’s during this time that we find ourselves trying out new recipes, spending more time with family, picking up new hobbies, reading more books, making new crafts, etc. THESE are the things we want to remember: not the stress or the panic or the uncertainty. We want you to remember the fun times and the closeness you experienced as a family this year in our free printable journal.
We have put together this “My Quarantine Journal” for you and your family to document what you did together these few months! Have fun and try new things and keep track of everything you guys do together as a family š One day, you’ll look back at your printable journal and be so glad that you documented your activities during this time š
STEP 1: PRINT YOUR COVER
We have 3 different cover options for you to print for your printable journal. If you have a binder, you can just slide it in the protective covering on the front or, if your binder doesn’t have that, you can use a bit of Washi tape to secure it to the front of the binder. If you don’t have a binder, you can just use a folder – we used Washi tape on the long edges of the paper to secure the cover to the front of the printable journal.
STEP 2: DOWNLOAD THE ENTIRE PRINTABLE JOURNAL BUNDLE
STEP 3: FILL OUT THE JOURNAL PAGES EVERY DAY
Every day, you and your kids can keep track of how you feel and what you have to be positive about and be thankful for. I love that one day you’ll look back and remember exactly everything that was going on in your family’s lives while the world was in an abnormal state.
One of my favorite pages in this printable journal is the one where you can fill out who you can pray for or write a note to during this lonely time. It’s so important to focus on others during times like these – let’s teach our kids to be kind-hearted and loving and caring towards others š
Here are some printable cards for you to send!
There are also pages for you to paste pictures of crafts you and your family have made and recipes your family has tried (even if they didn’t work out!) and fun things you have done together as a family.
Right now is a great time to teach your kids to how to set goals (or set some goals for yourself!). I know I have been getting so much done the past couple months! It’s been so nice to branch out and try new things and just get caught up on some stuff I haven’t gotten done in a while š
*If you want to tackle something new, we recommend learning to knit or crochet š Here is a fun and easy kit for beginners learning to knit! And here is one for learning to crochet!
*If you’re looking for some fun ways to get outdoors and have fun, check out this post with fun outdoor activities!
Make sure to show us your printable journal after you’ve printed it and filled it out!
