Winter Wonderland Bridal Shower Ideas, including Games, Free Printables, Decorations, Favors, and Food Ideas!

Our sister Jessica is getting married this December, and we wanted to throw a pretty winter neutrals bridal shower. With 5 sisters, there are LOTS of ideas thrown around, and it is so fun to plan! When we plan a bridal shower, we search Pinterest for the best ideas and then try to make them our own.

I’m going to share everything that we did with you . . . and make it easy to plan your own shower with all of these ideas in one spot!

Bridal Shower Welcome Sign and Printable Bridal Shower Invitations

Our sister Rachel makes the prettiest printable signs and invitations! You can find so many options on her Etsy shop, or ask her about a custom order on there as well.

Table Runners

For the table centerpieces, we cut long peach table runners out of this fabric from Joanns.

It is so smooth and pretty, and it doesn’t fray on the edges, so no need to hem! Just cut the runners to the size desired with some good fabric scissors like these, and they are ready to use.

Pinecone and Fur Centerpieces

We then layered a faux fur fabric over the runner. It adds such a dimensional look to the table.

We sprinkled these gold rings down the runner.

We then used these snow tipped pinecones to fill a glass cylinder. You can find the glass cylinders here, or also at Hobby Lobby or sometimes even Dollar Tree.

Finally, we put these beautiful small wreaths from Hobby Lobby around the bottom of each vase. We got them during a 50% off sale, so they were only $3 each.

How to Make A Hot Chocolate Bar

For the hot chocolate bar, we put a large piece of wrapping paper on the wall behind the table. It adds so much!

We collected as many glass dishes as we could (you can find these at dollar stores, thrift stores, Hobby Lobby, or even ones you already have in your own cupboard!), and we filled them with hot chocolate toppings.

Hot Chocolate Bar Topping Ideas:

mini marshmallows and large marshmallows
chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, white chocolate chips
caramel syrup and chocolate syrup
colored sprinkles
crushed Oreos
crushed graham crackers
chopped Reeses
crushed candy canes

We also decorated with white lights and a simple white plastic tablecloth from Walmart.

We LOVE bottle brush trees!! We found ours at Walmart and Hobby Lobby.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

We used this recipe from Modern Honey to make the most delicious Copycat Crumbl Chocolate Chip Cookies. Her easy to follow recipe is filled with tips and suggestions, and the cookies use a couple special, but still normal, ingredients to take her recipe to the top!

To raise the plates of cookies up on the table, we used upside down bowls, and covered them with the same knit fabric that we used for the table runners.

Bridal Shower Food Ideas

We made these cute different flavored pinwheels, and put them on skewers for a fun party food idea. These would also be great for a Christmas party food idea! There are several recipes on Pinterest for pinwheels – we didn’t use recipes, instead came up with our own recipes. Maybe those will be a future blog post 😉

We also made these Ranch Pretzels from I Am Baker. SO simple, but SO delicious!

Kids Table Idea for Bridal Shower

Sometimes bridal showers can be boring for little girls! We made a kids table decorated especially for them, with things to keep them busy and happy.

We got these disposable coffee cups with lids to decorate with markers and then fill with hot chocolate.

We also printed out some adorable wedding coloring pages!

Bridal Shower Favor Ideas

We wanted to give a favor to our guests that they would actually use and love! We collected neutral colored mugs from everywhere (thrift stores, dollar stores, etc) . . . and made a cute tag to tie on the handle with some ribbon. We then placed one at every setting; to use at the hot chocolate bar and then also to take home with them. Everyone loved them!

Balloon Arch
